1. Overview & Spiritual Identity

Sant Satguru Madhu Paramhans Sahib, revered endearingly by millions of disciples worldwide as "Sahibji", is the fourth-generation spiritual master in the exalted Paramhans lineage of Sant Mat (the path of eternal truth originally revealed by Supreme Saint Kabir Sahib). He is the founder of the Sahib Bandgi Spiritual Organisation (registered under the aegis of Sant Girdharanand Paramhans Sant Ashram).

Regarded as the Nirale Satguru (the Unique True Master), Sahibji reveals the esoteric cosmic knowledge of the soul (Jeeva), the creation of the universe, and the subtle bondage imposed by Kaal Niranjan (the formless ruler and architect of karmic illusions). He is celebrated for bestowing the living, vibrant spiritual energy—known as Paras Surati and Saar Naam (Sanjeevan Naam)—which directly elevates a bound soul (Kaag / crow) into an enlightened, liberated entity (Hansa / swan), granting permanent liberation to Amar Lok (the immortal abode of Param Purush).

2. Early Life, Celibacy & Military Service

  • Birth & Childhood: Sahibji was born on April 18, 1950 (Chaitra Shukla Purnima) in Sehore, near Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, into a humble family. From early childhood, he exhibited profound spiritual consciousness, natural detachment from worldly illusions, and adopted strict lifelong celibacy (Bal Brahmachari).
  • Service to the Nation (Indian Army): In 1967, at the tender age of 17, Sahibji joined the Indian Army in the esteemed Mahar Regiment. He served the nation with unblemished integrity, bravery, and exemplary discipline for 24 years (1967–1991), eventually taking voluntary retirement as a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) following the physical departure of his Guru.
  • Discipline & Humility: Throughout his military tenure, Sahibji maintained rigorous spiritual discipline, rising before dawn, never partaking in intoxicants or meat, and selflessly cooking meals and serving his fellow soldiers and his spiritual master.

3. Spiritual Succession & Guru-Bhakti

  • Meeting Satguru Girdharanand Paramhans Ji: In 1968, at the age of 18, Sahibji traveled to village Haveliya in District Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, where he met Swami Girdharanand Paramhans Ji, an accomplished master in the lineage of Param Purush Bhakti.
  • Conferment of the Mantle (1968): Recognizing Sahibji's total mastery over body and mind and his innate divine radiance, Swami Girdharanand Paramhans Ji designated the 18-year-old Madhu Paramhans as his sole spiritual successor during his lifetime, bestowing upon him the sacred title of "Sant Satguru".
