The Hindi Commentary of Rasendrasar Sangrah, prepared by Pandit Ram Parshad Vaid is very inter- esting and useful and I think it is sure to prove a valu- able contribution of the utmost importance to the Ayurvedic literature. It is not only an easy transla- tion of the Rasendrasar Sangrah by Shri Gopal Krishna Bhut, but the Vaid has added many practical suggestions regarding the preparations and uses of different sorts of compositions of merecury and of the compositions of good many herbs and drugs. The special feature of the work is the addition of lucid notes on the different ways of treatment of obstinate deseases.
