Editorial Policy

Truth here means faithfulness to a cited source. A verified passage has been checked to match its source scan — it does not mean any particular interpretation is endorsed.

Indic texts often exist in multiple recensions and traditions. Where readings differ, we aim to represent that plurality — recording variants and citing sources — rather than declaring a single correct version.

Contributors should cite sources, keep a neutral tone, and attribute contested claims to the traditions or scholars that hold them.

This policy is provisional and will be refined with community and legal input.
