PREFACE. In the presence of S'rīmad Goswāmi S'rī Gokulanāthaji Mahārāja of Baḍā Mandir, Bombay, an arrangement was arrived at between S'eth Lālji Nāraṇji and ourselves in May 1925 by which the Trustees of the late S'eth Gordhandās Sundardās agreed to defray the whole cost of the publication of Aṇu Bhāshya-Bhāshya Prakāsha-Ras'mi. This volume is published in pursuance of the same. For this happy result we express our obligations to S'rīmad Goswāmī S'rī Gokulanāthaji Mahārāja and the said Trustees. In bringing out this edition we have got hearty co-operation from Goswamis and their learned s'āstris. H. H. Tilakayita S'rīmad Goswami S'rī Govardhanalalji and his son S'rī Damodaralalji have been kind enough to lend us two very good Mss. of the Aṇu Bhashya. Through the kindness of S'rīmad Goswami S'rī Vraja Ratnaji a fragment of the original Ras'mi became available to us for the first time in 1917. S'rīmad Goswami S'rī Vallabhalalji S'rī Muralidharaji, S'rī Gokulanathaji, S'rī Ranchhodlalji, and S'rī Magnalalji have lent us Mss. of the Aṇu Bhashya from their collections. Last but not the least we must acknowledge our deep obligations to the late Pandit Gattulālji's Library. Mr. Jamnadas Kanji B. A., has helped in preparing the press-copy of the Introduction.
