INTRODUCTION. By the Grace of God we are able to put before the public the third and the fourth pādas of the Fourth Adhyâya, together with the charming रश्मिपरिशिष्ट of भक्तिमार्गीय उपसन्निधान and फलदानादि on 3. 3. 16, revealing how God (रसो वै सः) becomes manifest before His भक्त in पुष्टिमार्ग, and what sort of फल the भक्त gets. Unfortunately seven pages of the manuscript are missing, and hence we have lost the description of some of the subjects mentioned in the contents. The delay in the publication of this Volume is chiefly due to the extreme difficulty of deciphering the परिशिष्ट, in which additions and interlineations have been made by the author on almost all the pages and on all the sides of the margin so closely, that it is almost impossible to read them and to put them in their proper places; and in spite of our devoting as much labour as we could, we had unavoidably to leave out some words which could not be deciphered.
