The original MS. is written in Devanāgarī, has 135 leaves, 11 lines per leaf, the line 37 akṣaras; leaves 57-68 (the paśubandha) are wanting. This MS. contains the darśapūrṇa- māsa, ādhāna, the daśādhyāyika, cāturmāsya, agniṣṭoma, and pravargya. Professor Hillebrandt of Breslau, for whom this copy was made, allowed me with the greatest generosity the use of this MS. At the end of the copy we find the following notice:— संवत् १९५२ श्रीशाके १८१७ ईशासंवत् १८९६ माघशुक्लद्वितीयायां व्यवहारिमासस्य पञ्चविंशे दिने श्रीमन्डौक्तर् औरिएल् ष्टैन साहिबाचार्याज्ञया तदाश्रितकाश्मीरक- पण्डितसहजभट्टेन जम्बूस्थीय रघुनाथमन्दिरस्य पुस्तकालयंतर्वर्तिपुस्तकात्प्रदत्तचिह्नरूपेण ५१२७ संख्यायुक्तादवतारितं बौधायनसूत्रपुस्तकमिदं शोधितं च मूलपुस्तकसाहाय्येन यथामत्येतत् ॥ In the handwriting of Stein follow these lines: “Jammu MS.
