162 बृहत्संहितायाम् [Adh. XIV. Sl. 11-16 Slokas 8-10—In the South east are situated Kosala, Kalinga, Vanga, Upavanga, Jatharanga, Saulikas, Vidar- bha, the Vatsas, Andhra, Chedi, the Urdhvakanthas, the island of Vrisha, Nalikera Charmadweepa, the inhabitants of the Vindhya range, Tripuri, Smasrudharas, Hema- kudya, the Vyalagreevas, the Mahagreevas, Kishkindha, Kantakastthala, the territory of the aborigines, the Purikas, the Dasarnas, naked Sabaras and Parna Sabaras (Sabaras clothed in leaves).
