428 बृहत्संहितायाम् [Adh. LIII Sl. 22-25. विस्तारषोडशांशः सचतुर्हस्तो भवेद्गृहोच्छ्रायः । द्वादशभागेनोना भूमौ भूमौ समस्तानाम् ॥२२॥ Sloka 22.—The height of the first storey should be a sixteenth of the width with an addition of four cubits. The height of each of the following upper storeys is to be lessened by one-twelfth of the preceding one.
