Sl. 45-49. स्कन्धावारादीनां निवेशसमये रुवंश्चलत्पक्षः । सूचयतेऽन्यत्स्थानं निश्चलपक्षस्तु भयमात्रम् ॥४५॥ Sloka 45.—If a crow caws beating its wings at the time of encampment or making a halting place, change of place is indicated ; if it does not shake its wings, there will be only fear. प्रविशद्भिः सैन्यादीन् सगृध्रकङ्कैरविनामिषं ध्वाङ्क्षैः । अविरुद्धैस्तैः प्रीतिर्द्विषतां युद्धं विरुद्धैश्च ॥४६॥ Sloka 46.—If crows enter an army (town or village) along with vultures or herons, without carrying meat and without fighting with others, one will make peace with the enemy ; if they be fighting, there will be war with the enemy. बन्धः सूकरसंस्थे पङ्काक्ते सूकरे द्विकेऽर्थाप्तिः । क्षेमं खरोष्ट्रसंस्थे केचित्प्राहुर्वधं तु खरे ॥४७॥ Sloka 47.—If two crows are seen standing on a hog, there will be imprisonment ; if on a hog covered with silt, gain of wealth ; if on a donkey or a camel, happi- ness ; but according to some, there will be death, if it is on the donkey. वाहनलाभोऽश्वगते विरुवत्यनुयायिनि क्षतजपातः । अन्येऽप्यनुव्रजन्तो यातारं काकवद्विहगाः॥४८॥ Sloka 48 —If the crow caws sitting on the back of a horse, one will come by vehicles ; if it caws following a tourist, he will have his blood spilt. Other birds that follow (crying) a traveller, also produce the same effects as the crow. द्वात्रिंशत्प्रविभक्ते दिक्चक्रे यद्यथा समुद्दिष्टम् । तत्तत्तथा विधेयं गुणदोषफलं यियासूनाम् ॥४९॥
