Sl. 24-25.] चतुरधिकशततमोऽध्यायः 777 Sloka 23.—When Mercury passes through the 9th house, he creates obstacles; through the 10th, kills ene- mies, bestows wealth, a beautiful damsel on a couch, her house property, fine words and sheets. The metre is दोधक.— दोधकमितीच्छति भत्रितयाद्गौ ॥ धनसुतसुखयोषिन्मित्रवाहाप्तितुष्टि- स्तुहिनकिरणपुत्रे लाभगे मृष्टवाक्यः । रिपुपरिभवरोगैः पीडितो द्वादशस्थे न सहति परिभोक्तुं मालिनीयोगसौख्यम् ॥२४॥ Sloka 24.—When Mercury passes through the 11th house, the person will get wealth, sons, happiness, wife, friends, vehicles and contentment; he will also speak sweet words; when through the 12th, he will be troubled by enemies, insults and diseases; he will not be able to enjoy the pleasure of union with his beloved. The metre is मालिनी— ननमयययुतेयं मालिनी भोगिलोकैः ॥ जीवे जन्मन्यपगतधनधीः स्थानभ्रष्टो बहुकलहयुतः । प्राप्यार्थेऽर्थान् व्यरिरपि कुरुते कान्तास्याब्जे भ्रमरविलसितम् ॥२५ Sloka 25.—When Jupiter passes through the Janma Rasi, the person will lose his money, mental balance and position; he will quarrel frequently; when he travels through the 2nd, he will get wealth and be free from enemies; his beloved will sport with his mouth as does a bee with the lotus. The metre is भ्रमरविलसिता.— मो गो नो गो भ्रमरविलसिता. बृ. सं 98
