164 KĀVYAPRAKĀŚA अत्र च शब्दार्थालंकारभेदाद्बहवो भेदाः ते चालंकारनिर्णये निर्णेष्यन्ते ॥ इति काव्यप्रकाशे शब्दार्थचित्रनिरूपणं नाम षष्ठ उल्लासः ॥६॥ that they are regarded as ‘devoid of suggestiveness’ [and hence ‘inferior’]. The varieties of this kind of Poetry are many, in accor- dance with the number of Figures of Speech—ideal and verbal ; and these are going to be described under the section treating of the ‘Figures of Speech’ (Chapters IX and X). 48.
