'Here' in poetry,—the exact nature of these is going to be defined later on. The meanings thereof are the Expressed and so forth. That is, the Expressed, the Indicated and the Suggested. According to some, the Import also -- (6) The opinion held by the Abhihitānvayavādin Mīmām- sakas (the followers of Kumārila) is that when the denotations of a number of words—which are going to be described later on—become related together, through 'mutual requirement,' 'compatibility' and 'proximity,' there appears a resultant in the shape of the 'meaning of the sentence,'—which is not expressed by any single word constituting that sentence, and which, being, on that account, of a peculiar character, comes to be called by the name 'Tātparyārtha' or 'Import'. The Anvitābhidhānavādins (followers of Prabhākara) on the other hand, hold that the 'meaning of the sentence' is the expressed meaning of the words themselves.
