Translate into English or Hindi:— प्रयुक्तसत्कार विशेषमात्मना न मां परं संप्रतिपत्तुमर्हसि । यतः सतां संनतगात्रि संगतं मनीषिभिः साप्तपदीनमुच्यते ॥ A—Hindi Translation:—(तुमने) अपने आप जिसका विशेष आदर किया है ऐसे मुझको कोई दूसरा (अजनबी) मानना उचित नहीं है ; क्योंकि हे सुन्दरि बुद्धिमान लोग सज्जनों की मित्रता को सात शब्दों के बोलने (या) पैरों के चलने से होने वाली कहते हैं । English Translation :—It does not behove thee to regard me as a stranger, to whom special hospitality has been accorded by thee, for, O, one of stooping body the friendship of good people is declared by the wise to be formed after seven words have been exchanged between them (or) after seven steps have been walked together.
