i. 51ᵃᵇ—] Bhavabhūti — Uttara-Rāma-Charita [30 Of Janaka's and of Raghu's families the all-in-all of auspiciousness, and to whom—of holy character—in the holy sacrificial ground of the Gods thou didst give birth. 51 Exit. Sītā, talks in sleep—Alas, gentle my Lord! Rising abruptly. Why now, what a fool I am! Deceived by the malignant dream, I am crying after my noble Lord! Looking [around]. How now! Could it be that leaving me here alone and sleeping, my dear Lord has verily gone away? What can this mean? Well, well! I must be angry with him—provided [of course] that when I look upon his face I am master of my [actions]! Who is in attendance here? Durmukha, entering—Queen! Prince Lakshmaṇa requests: The car is ready; will the Queen [be pleased to] get in? Sītā—Here I am, ready. Rising. I feel something like a throbbing in my womb: let us go slowly. Durmukha—This way, this way, Queen! Sītā—My salutations¹ unto the Presiding-deities of the race of Raghu! Both go out.
