Some read केवलमस्या विभीषिका-which means '(Supposing that Râma is an unrivaled warrior) what is the meaning of this threat in addition? V reads किमुक्तेः संनिपत्येव-'why talk with you? After attacking you (I shall carry off the horse)' Ch. reads 'किमुक्तेः शरसम्बाधा'-why talk? (I shall carry off that banner of yours), which will be full of arrows He means that he will attack them and the horse standing in their midst may be riddled with arrows in the fight. लोष्टैर्निघ्नन् striking it with clods of earth. रोहित-a kind of deer वराकः poor, wret ched. चापलू rash act तीक्ष्ण श्रेण्यः lines of soldiers are very sharp (i. e. harsh) आयुधेन जीवतीति आयुधीयः, according to 'आयुधाच्छ च' पा. 4. 4. 14 (चाटुन् । आयुधीयः । आयुधिकः । सि. कौ).
