Ordinary thread for sewing is made of cotton or silk but this is formed of affection alone. Be- ings are brought to love one another by an inner and unseen working of the hearts. Verse 18 मसृणितं राजपहं तद्वद् कान्तं ( मनोहरं ) तस्मिन्—as lovely as a polished royal fillet. परिष्वङ्गस्य आलिङ्गनस्य अनिष्पादात् पुलका एव कदम्बानि (कदम्बपुष्पानि), उन्मीलन्ति पुलककदम्बानि यस्मिन् in which the erect hair resembling कदम्ब buds have made their appearance.
