Vedānta-kaustubha To the objection, viz Smṛti texts declare that in Raurava and the rest there are other presiding lords like Citragupta and the rest. Hence to say that all come under the sway of Yama seems to be inconsistent,—(the prima facie objector) replies: "On account of his activity," i.e. on account of Yama's activity", "even there too", i.e. in Raurava and the rest too, Citragupta and the rest are under the control of Yama; and hence there is "no contradiction".
