Sl. 5-8.] पञ्चनवतितमोऽध्यायः 711 southern or northern branch, there will be rain between the two seasons, rainy and autumnal ; if it is on the top of the tree, there will be copious rain in all the four months ; if it is in the S. E., there will be sporadic rain ; if in the S. W., autumnal crops will flourish ; if in the other two corners, there will be plenty of food-grains, but in the N.
