62 बृहत्संहितायाम् [Adh. V. Sl. 54-59 हरिते रोगोल्बणता सस्यानामीतिभिश्च विध्वंसः । कपिले शीघ्रगसत्वम्लेच्छध्वंसोऽथ दुर्भिक्षम् ॥५४॥ अरुणकिरणानुरूपे दुर्भिक्षा वृष्टयो विहगपीडा । आधूम्रे क्षेमसुभिक्षमादिशेन्मन्दवृष्टिं च ॥५५॥ कापोतारुणकपिलश्यावाभे क्षुद्भयं विनिर्दिश्यम् । कापोतः शूद्राणां व्याधिकरः कृष्णवर्णश्च ॥५६॥ विमलकमणिपीताभो वैश्य ध्वंसी भवेत् सुभिक्षाय । साचिष्मत्यग्निभयं गैरिकरूपे तु युद्धानि । ५७॥ दूर्वाकाण्डश्यामे हारिद्रे वापि निर्दिशेन्मरकम् । अशनिभयसम्प्रदायी पाटलकुसुमोपमो राहुः ॥५८॥ पांशुविलोहितरूपः क्षत्रध्वंसाय भवति वृष्टेश्च । बालरविकमलसुरचापरूपभृच्छस्त्रकोपाय ॥५९॥ Slokas 53-59.—If the eclipsed disc appear white, there will be peace and prosperity all over, but the Brah- mins will suffer.
