संदर्भ में पढ़ेंश्रीसमर्थांची शिकवण. २३ राष्ट्राचाहि ओढा पुढें मागें लवकरच अशा प्रकारच्या संस्थेकडे लागेल असा तिकडील हालचालीवरून व विचारप्रदर्शनावरून रंग दिसत आहे. अशा स्थितींत आयती परंपरागत चालत आलेली इष्ट संस्था मोडून राष्ट्रसुधारणेची हाव बाळ- गल्यास ती यशस्वी तर होणार नाहींच, पण उलट त्यापासून नुकसान मात्र फार होईल, असा स्पष्ट इशारा दासांच्या शिकवणीच्या निरूपणानुसार देणें आम्हांस इष्ट वाटतें. चातुर्वर्ण्य कायम ठेवण्याची इच्छा बाळगून मग त्यांतील दोष सुधा- रण्याचा जर कोणी महात्मा यत्न करील, तर त्याच्या हातून मात्र आमची राष्ट्रीय उन्नति होणें शक्य आहे. चातुर्वर्ण्य मोडून तें कार्य करूं असें जर कोणी म्हणेल तर त्याच्या त्या केवळ वल्गना असून परिणामीं त्या निष्फळ होऊन दुःखास कारणीभूत होणाऱ्या आहेत. राष्ट्राची परंपरा सोडून म्हणजे उत्क्रांतीचा मार्ग सोडून क्रांतीचा मार्ग स्वीकारल्यास आपत्तिच जास्त ओढवते, असें अनेक राष्ट्रांचा इतिहास आज आपणांस सांगत आहे. विश्वबंधुत्व, समता, स्वातंत्र्य (लोकस्वातंत्र्य) ह्या गोंडस कल्पनांचा प्रसार युरोपखंडांत प्रथम फ्रेंच राज्य-
