Adhikaraṇa 6 Earth Is Manifested From Water, and the Word "Anna" in the Chāndogya Upaniṣad Means "Earth" Introduction by Śrīla Baladeva Vidyābhūṣaṇa In the Chāndogya Upaniṣad it is said: tā āpa aikṣanta bahvayaḥ syāma prajāyemahīti tā annam asṛjanta "Water thought: `I shall become many.
