described. Saṁśaya (doubt): Should all the qualities of the Lord be combined together in the devotees' meditation, or should they not be combined in that way? Pūrvapakṣa (the opponent speaks): The qualities of the Lord should not be combined in meditation, for there is not evidence to say that this should be done. Because it is not said in scripture that all the qualities of the Lord should be combined in meditation, therefore they should not be so combined.
