२५२ कान्हडदे प्रबन्ध Khaṇḍa III Verse 9 ह्योम CH (L B), a Rājasthānī form, preferable to ढेस DK or ढेसि J for ending rhyme with (दोम in) the next caraṇa. वलि B K L pref. to दलि A (C D J) as more suitable in the context. 16 सिधार D (K L J) pref. as a proper OWR form; संढार H, सिहार A B C are, probably, restorations. 17 जिसउ A (B J) is pref. to किसउ L (BC) as more representative and also agreeing better with किसउ in the iv qr. 18 पाल्हूँ (A B H L) pref. to छंडालूं J (C D K) as more suitable in the context; (cf. विषम दुर्ग मई सवि पाल्हीया II 75). 19 दीहइ A L (H) pref. to ऊडी B D J K as preserving the initial rhyme better. 20 घण A K pref. to भट B C D H J L, as it gives better sense. 22 सहिस B K pref. to सहस A C D H as a Rājasthānī form. जैस A (supported by ईस K L) pref. to जई C D J for ending rhyme with the preceding caraṇa. 23 छइ A H L (B) pref. to मुखि C (D K); मुखि, however, also possible. 25 धाजी DK, a lectio difficilior, is the original reading > पांजी H, बीजी B L, थीजा C, विजया A, all mislections. गिहभो H (B C D J K) is pref. to गहओ A (L) as a Rājasthānī form. अवश्य, a lectio difficilior, is the original reading > अवशक A, आवसिक J > अवस्य (हुइ) C > आवश्यक K. 27 साजी K (L H) adopted as a more representative reading; मांज्या J (D C), too, is possible. 29 घरइ A K pref. for metrical reasons; घरी C D H J L also is possible. 30 रूटउ (C D J) adopted; रूठउ (H K L), another form of the same word, is also acceptable. It is interesting to note how साहणी > हांसणी H by transposition. 31 वीर H J (cf. K) is certainly the original reading > चीर A B C D L, a mis- lection. दीजइ A K L (B) is pref.; रीजइ (C H J D) is also possible. 32 It is noteworthy how सूतै AB (L H K) > सूनै C D (J), a mislection through similarity of the letters त and न in the original. 38 प्रमार A pref. as the Rājasthānī form (cf. पमार K L) and also as metrically more suitable. 39 रायंगणि B (A) pref. as the OWR form current in popular speech; (cf. रियंगणि III 96). 40 श्रीगिरण्ड K (A L) pref. to श्रीगरण्ह B H J as a Rājasthānī form.
