III 64). सेहलूत JL preferable to सेल्हप A (BKL) for the ending rhyme. 47 सहहु A pref. to सबल BDJKL; cf. III 64. 51 भट A (D) adopted, as भलाणु B, भागुणु H, भलउ नइ K, भामो L, are all un- suitable. जीण AK adopted ; जाक CJL (D) also possible. 60 शाण्ड (DJ) pref. to जोलउ A, जाल्ह H, जाल्हथ K, for metrical reasons. 61 मलकू BH (DJ) is the correct form; मलिक, मिलक KL are, evidently, mislections. 62 मूला B preferable to सिंघ AD (HJ), सिंघो KL, to avoid repetition with सीहु immediately preceding. 63 लाहु A pref. to लोलु BHJ (DK) for initial rhyme with लहु immediately following. लागु A pref. to खंभु DJ (K), which, however, is also possible. In that case लोलु खंभु नइ बइरसी will be the alternate reading in the iv qr. 65 बेलाउत D (A) is the original reading > बेलाडल BH, बेलाउलि L. 67 पुरातल L (HB) is the original reading. It is interesting to note how पुरातल > परतालि H > भरतालि CDK, a mislection. 72 बलीय A (J) pref. to बली DHL and अनइ बली K (B) for metrical reasons. 79 पलदल ABH (K) pref. to पलभल CDJ; both are onomatopoetic words having the same sense. रण BH pref. to the usual Rājasthānī form रिण KL (A) as it (ये रण) rhymes better with पेरणि immediately following. 82 अवाइं is the original word ; निराइं B (L), अवेसू J are restorations. 87 दि सइं D (JC) pref. to दसइ A (BHL) as giving better sense. डलिया CK (AH) (> लीया BL) is preferable to रोडीया (DJ) in the context. 89 It is interesting to note how the proximity of अमावस led scribes to emend a lectio difficilior like पूरतींइ to पिंड लीया B, which, in turn, was restored as दंभे लीया J, राड सारइ K. 94 बलिबंतउ AK (L) pref. to बलवंतु BCDJ, as a Rājasthānī form. 95 भूलिगा A pref. to मूलगा BCDHJKL, as a Rājasthānī form. 96 रिणंगणि A (BHJL) noteworthy as a contraction of रिण अंगणि current in spoken speech ; cf. रादंगणि III 39. 99 दींधीइ D (ACJK) pref. to आंदांनई H(B), हणाइइ L as more representative and preserving the initial rhyme. 105 निक्काटि AC (LB) is the proper OWR form; स्फाटि HJ(DK) emended by the scribe is a Sanskritization of the same.
