तृतीय उल्लासः अर्थाः प्रोक्ताः पुरा तेषाम् अर्थाः वाच्यलक्ष्यव्यङ्ग्याः । तेषां वाचकलाक्षणिकव्यञ्जकानाम् ॥ अर्थव्यञ्जकतोच्यते । कीदृशीत्याह-- वक्तृबोद्धव्यकाकूनां वाक्यवाच्यान्यसन्निधेः ॥ २१ ॥ प्रस्तावदेशकालादेर्वैशिष्ट्यात् प्रतिभाजुषाम् । योर्थस्यान्यार्थधीहेतुर्व्यापारो व्यक्तिरेव सा ॥ २२ ॥ बोद्धव्यः प्रतिपाद्यः । काकुर्ध्वनेर्विकारः । प्रस्तावः प्रकरणम् । CHAPTER III THE SUGGESTIVENESS OF MEANING The meanings of these have been described before. ‘Meanings’—i. e. the Expressed, the Indicated and the Suggested. ‘Of these’,—i. e. of the Expressive, the Indicative and the Suggestive words.—(Vide Text 6, above).
