२४८ रसार्णवे तत्र मातापुरं¹ नाम प्रसिद्धं देवतागृहम् । तस्मादुत्तरतो देवि कम्प्याख्यं नगरं² परम् ॥ २६१ ॥ तत्र कम्पेश्वरो देव³स्तत्रास्त्युष्णोदकं⁴ ध्रुवम् । प्रणीताख्या⁵ नदी तत्र स्नात्वा वै साधकोत्तमः । पश्चादुष्णोदके कुण्डे विधिं कुर्याद्यथोदितः⁶ ॥ २६२ ॥ शर्वरीमुषितस्तत्र⁷ धनवांशं⁸ दिने दिने । भक्षयेन्मासमात्रं तु जीवेद्वर्षशताष्टकम्⁹ ॥ २६३ ॥ वर्षमेकं प्रयुञ्जीत¹⁰ जीवेद्वर्षायुतं सुखी¹¹ । बलोपलितनिर्मुक्तो भोगी चैव पुरन्दरः¹² ॥ २६४ ॥ (1) D reads मानापुरी. (2) D reads नागरं, which seems to be incorrect. (3) Both D and K read देवी, which is gram. inc. (4) तत्राप्युष्णोदकं is the reading in D. (5) D reads प्रणीतात्मा, which seems to be incorrect. (6) D reads यथेरितः. (7) मर्वरीमुषिते सव, a variant in D. शर्वरीभूषिता तत्र, a variant in K. सर्वतोमुषितां तत्र, a variant in M. None of the readings is perfectly correct. (8) D reads धनं काञ्चित्. K reads मृगकांश. Both are inc. M leaves a blank space here. (9) M reads वर्षसमाष्टकम्, which seems to be an error of the scribe. (10) K reads only प्रयुं and omits जीत. (11) This charana and the next three are not found in M. (12) भावी च शक्रवेशतः, a variant in D. After this we have एकगुणेन सूतेन &c., (9th śloka), which occurs in the beginning of the fourteenth Paṭala. Hence the MS. D is wanting the remaining portion of this twelfth Paṭala and the whole of the thirteenth Paṭala, as well as the first eight ślokas of the fourteenth Paṭala.
