पञ्चमः पटलः । ५८ रक्तस्नुही रक्तशृङ्गी रक्तिका¹ नीलचित्रकः । शृगालजिह्वा बृहती वज्रो चक्री च राजिका ॥ ६ ॥² एकवीरा नरकसा रुदन्ती ब्रह्मचारिणी³ । उच्चटा⁴ मानिनोकन्दा⁵ कुमारी रक्तचित्रकः ॥ १० ॥⁶ लक्ष्मोः शाखोटकश्चैव⁷ कञ्चुकी⁸ मेषशृङ्गिका । हिमावतो सोमलता मोदा⁹ व्याघ्रनखो शमो¹⁰ ॥ ११ ॥ काञ्चनी वनराजी च¹¹ काकमाची च केशिनी¹² । (1) B has सक्तुकं. M has रक्तापर्णी च चित्रका. (2) This hemistich and the next two are not found in M. K reads चक्रा. B reads जारिका. But all other texts have the above reading. After this (9th) śloka we find a hemistich in B and K, which we have omitted, as it appeared to be a repetition of the above-mentioned objects. (3) B reads पद्म- चारिणी. (4) B reads उच्चाटा. K reads उच्चला. (5) K has an absurd reading मानिलियलोंवकु. (6) After the 10th śloka B and K read the very same hemistich, which is the first part of the 9th śloka. (7) B and M read लक्ष्मौशाखोटकञ्चक्री. K reads लक्ष्मोसाखोटकञ्चक्रौ. All the texts read चक्री, which is once mentioned in the 9th śloka. (8) B and K read वज्रिणी, which is once mentioned in the shape of वज्रो. (9) B and K read व्याघ्री, which is once mentioned in the 8th śloka. (10) K reads व्याघ्रनखो समौ. M reads व्याघ्रशमी मशा. Both seem to be incorrect. (11) B reads वनराजा च, which is gram. incorrect. M reads काञ्चिनी वानराजी च. (12) B has काचमाची च केशमी. K has कांकमाची कमांदनी.
