Here a description is given as to how the monkey getting free, created a turmoil all around. वर्षवरैर्नष्टम्—The eunuchs disappeared. “षण्ढो ( षण्ढौ ) वर्षवर- न्मन्थी” इत्यमरः। नश् + भावे क्त; here नश् धातु conveys the sense of अदर्शन। मनुष्यगणनामाभावात्—Owing to their not being reckoned as men proper. त्रपाम् अपास्य—Forsaking all sense of shame. अप - अस् (to throw)+ल्यप् । In fact the eunuchs, being devoid of manliness, are lost to the human feelings of shame and insult. कञ्चुकि- कञ्चुक—The surplice of the chamberlain. कञ्चुकमस्यास्तीति कञ्चुक + इन् । कञ्चुकी is the chamberlain in the charge
