वैराग्य शतक

की शरणमें जाओ ! वह बिना अपमान किये, प्रेम के साथ आपके अभावोंको सुने और दूर करेगा तथा आपको नित्य- शायी सुख-शान्ति बख्शेगा ।

व्यप्यय ।

बैठ पौरिया द्वार, छड़ी कर पहरी राखत । सोचत स्वामि हमार, जाहु तुम ऐसे भाषत । करि हैं क्रोध अपार, लखैं जो तुमको द्वारे । जाहु विश्वपति द्वार, तहाँ नहि रोकनहारे । जहाँ निर्दय कटुवादी नहीं, अवशि तहाँ चलिजाइये । वहैं निर्भय ब्रह्मचंद सुख, ब्रह्मचंद तहाँ पाइये ॥६७॥

97. O mind, leaving dependence on those at whose doors such answers are heard, as, "It is not the proper time for you to see the master of the house, as he likes to be alone now, or is asleep, and if he happens to find you standing here, he will be offended," etc, do thou take thy shelter in the mansion of the Lord of the universe at Whose doors there is no sentinel, where no unsympathetic and harsh words are heard and who is the Giver of eternal happiness.

पिय सखि विपदगड्वातप्रताप परम्परा- तिपरिचले चिन्ताचक्रे निधाय विधिः खलः ॥ मुदमिव वलात्पिणडीकृत्य प्रगल्भकुलालवद्- अमयति मनो नो जानीमः किमत्र विधास्यति ॥६८॥
