(Burnell 55), comprising the text up to kh. 24, breaking off after the words: nihanty āvṛhyāśmānam upa. 11. Be 11, cp. Preface to Vol. i., p. x., No. 9: dvādaśāha (without gavām ayana), rājasūya, vājapeya. 12. T, cp. Preface to Vol. i., p. x., No. 12: rājasūya only. Of the rājasūya MSS. B Be and U agree mostly; on the other hand Be 11 and T go together. M is independent. 13. Be 8, cp. Preface to Vol. i., p. x., No. 10 (here cited as B 4) contains the iṣṭikalpa. 14. Be, a copy of the aupānuvākya praśna from Benares (Nāgarī, paper) on 14 foll., well-written but containing on the whole the same tradition as B and Be (115). 15. Be, a copy of the kāṭhakasūtra from Benares (see sūcipat- tra, p. 72, No. 10), paper, Nāgarī, 7 leaves. 16. Be (12), a copy of the atirātra from Benares (see sūcipat- tra, p. 72, No. 12), paper, Nāgarī, 3 leaves. 17. G, an original MS. of the aupānuvākya from Gwalior on paper in Nāgarī, procured on loan by Professor Bhandarkar. 18. T, a copy of the sautrāmaṇi in the collection of Sanskrit MSS. preserved at Tübingen (M.a. i., 317) Nāgarī, paper. 19. MS and MSc, text and commentary of the ekādaśinīsūtra contained in the MS. of the Mahāgnisarvasva, cp. supra No. 9. Other sources, which were of more or less help, are the Viva- raṇa of Bhavasvāmin up to the aupānuvākya, the Vivaraṇa of the atirātra, the aptoryāma and the sautrāmaṇi, and lastly the Prayogasāra of Keśavasvāmin on the contents of which cp. my paper on the Baudh.-sūtra, p. 15.
