Those formed in the dark half of Pushya may come out in the bright half of Sravana. Similarly, those that are formed in the bright half of Magha will see the light of the day in the dark fortnight of Sravana. The former part of Bhadrapada may be fixed upon as the time of birth corresponding to the dark half of Magha. Those that are formed in the first half of Phalguna may be said to come out in the latter half of Bhadrapada. But those in the dark fortnight of Phalguna will be born in the bright half of Aswayuja. The clouds that are formed in the first half of Chaitra will yield water in the latter half of Aswayuja ; and those that are formed in the latter half of Chaitra will rain in the first half of Kartika.
