Bhaḍāulī Line भडाउली B pref. (cf. भझाउली C, भटाडली D); भिड्डाउली AEGK is also possible. 3 सिरथि is the original reading (cf. 'सईवादी I '255; सीकरी IV 57) > संघि A, सिंहथि B, सहयि J are scribal restorations. 9 मुहाडि AE is the correct original reading (cf. मुहिडि G, महीदै B, माहि दाहे D); मुडाधानि C is a scribal restoration. 10 शेहय A adopted ; सेलहथ D, सेलहुत em. (B) are also acceptable. 45 लहिद्रया D (AC) is the original reading > mislections हलूहया B (ह and 'ल interchanged, and द्र misread as ह), लहिल्या E (ह being a slip of the scribe for द्र). 51 प्रतिटा AEG (cf. also प्रतिष्टया D, प्रविष्ट JK) is the proper Old Western Rājasthānī form ; प्रतिष्टा C, प्रविष्टिन B are Sanskritizations. 56 मनि A gives better sense ; however, मुत्ति BK (E) is also possible. 65 दीधा ABCDJK — निष्पा E, निखा G are noteworthy variants. 73 पड्या AK (cf. पाज्या B) pref. as more representative and preser- ving the initial rhyme ; मान्या J (CD) can also be accepted. 85 ऊपररा A (JK) noteworthy as the original form > ऊपरा BCEH. 103 शव C (सव H) is the prevalent Gujarati form ; शिव ADEK, probably a Rājasthānī variant of the word, would be misleading here. 104 हूंते pref.; थके हूंते K (DE) noteworthy as an instance of use of parallel expressions both conveying the same sense. Or, perhaps, it may be an instance of interpolation of marginalia into the text— थके, a variant reading for हूंते, noted below the latter, having crept into the text. 111-112 जरहवीण A (EH) pref. to जरहू BD (GK); (cf. जहरवीण BGDEJ; I 204). 129 रूप हारण्यु K preferable in the context; रूप हारतु E (CD) may also be accepted. 140 पुनुप E (cf. धुनप A) pref. as a Rājasthānī form. Khaṇḍa I Verse 193 सावरइ A (D) preferable to साचरया GK (EHJE), as a present-tense verb suits the context better ; however, नाचरया em (CK) or साचरिया EJ is also acceptable. 196 दमामा (BJKE) preferred. दमामा CD (HA) is another variant of the same word, and is also acceptable.
