खुदा ही मिला न विसाले सनम ।” हमने योंही संसारमें जन्म लेकर अपनी माताकी जवानी और नाशकी ! अगर हम जैसे निकम्मे न पैदा होते, तो बेचारीकी जवानीको रेंढ़ तो न होती !

व्यपय ।

विधि सों पूजे नाहिं, पाँय प्रभुके सुखकारी ।

प्रभुको धरो न ध्यान, सकल भव-दुखको हारी ।

खोले स्वर्ग-कपाट, धर्महू कयों न ऐसो ।

कामिन-कुचके संग, रंगभर रहो न तैसो ।

हरि ! हाय २ कीन्हौं कहा, पाय पदारथ नर जनम ? ।

जननी यौवन वन दहन कौं, अग्नि रूप मे प्रगट हम ॥११॥

11, We did not meditate in an appropriate way upon the essence of Godhead for the termination once for all of our ever recurring births and deaths. Neither did we practise religion which is the surest means for throwing open the door leading to Paradise. Nor did we embrace even in our dreams the pair of fat breasts or seductive nipples of a woman. Having done nothing for the present or the next world, we are only like an axe meant to hew down the wood of our mothers' youth.

भोगा न सुक्ता वयमेव सुक्ता-

स्तपो न तसं वयमेव तसाः ॥
