In Harivritti, the standard reading is: "परेण ज्योतिषा चैक्यं छित्त्वा ग्रन्थीन् प्रपद्यते ॥" Now look at what this book printed: It printed: "परेण ज्योति" then: Wait! Could it be "ज्योतिषैकत्वं" or "ज्योतिपैकत्वं"? Wait, "ज्योतिषा चैक्यं" -> 7 syllables? ज्यो-ति-षा (3) चै-क्यं (2) = 5. प-रे-ण (3) -> 3+5 = 8. Here it is: ज्यो-ति- (2) ... wait! If the typesetter had before them "ज्योतिषैकत्वं", wait: ज्यो (1) ति (2) षै (3) क (4) त्वं (5) = 5! Wait, if it was "ज्योतिपैकत्वं", why would anyone write that?
